Where can I buy a cheap catalytic converter?

Gypsies stole my catalytic converter from my diesel V40, can someone recommend a salvage yard or somewhere that does cheap secondhand ones? It's a 2001 model

Thanks ever so much!|||Gypsies stole it? Haha that sounds funny-sorry.

But i wouldnt try a used exhaust part-you really could be wasting your time. Exhaust parts generally rust solid onto a car and together. To unhook the converter from the exhaust pipe might require doing something extreme like cutting it off, ruining the part. BTW, i hope they didnt ruin the rest of your exhaust system geting your old one off.

Just go to your local auto parts store. They generally will sell 2-3 different "quality" of products. They will sell the original manufacturer one-one that is actually made by whoever made your car-this will be the most expensive. Then they might sell a couple knock off brands-made by other companies yet the price is alot cheaper but still just as good of a product more than likely.|||http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/__diesel-ca鈥?/a>
