What is the fine in California for having a Catalytic Converter that is no CA legal?

I just bought a magnaflow high flow catalytic converter. I know it is $2500 for having a test pipe but this isn't a test pipe, it is a high flow catalytic converter.|||Is it CARB Legal? (California Air Resource Board) Just a guess, but If is not CARB approved then it is still illegal and it is most likely the same fine.
